Tekken 7 Adds Additional Game Character “Eliza” Becoming Bonus DLC

Tekken Revolution, Bandai Namco’s failed free-to-play experiment will shutdown March 21. 2017 but they aren’t letting the money they invested go straight to the garbage, no it’s time to recycle. “Eliza,” a vampire who once spent a 100 years in a coffin after slipping in with the intentions of taking a nap only to awake 100 years into the future. While awake she has a tendency to fall directly into sleep.

This will be the bonus character for people who pre-order Tekken 7.

Funimation tweeted some exciting “Ghost In The Shell” news today. We all know that Hollywood cast Scarlett Johansson for the leading role in its version of “Ghost In The Shell.” A non-Japanese but still sexy-badass female playing major isn’t all that bad but what if you could catch the original “Ghost In The Shell” movie in theaters?

Upcoming Winter Anime “Granblue Fantasy” Shares Character Visuals

Crunchyroll’s been making announcements on the upcoming 2017 winter anime season. Today the streaming company announced the acquisition of  the simulcast sub rights to “Seiren,” a winter 2017 romantic-comedy anime.

New “Fairy Tail” Movie Coming In 2017

Fairy Tail may have ended its unbelievable long-running series but a few days ago Hiro Mashima, illustrator and writer for the massive-popular title tweeted confirmation of “Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry.” The second film in the mega-franchise. Rumors of a second film have been floating around the internet since 2014 with a possible release date for 2015. Of course, that didn’t happen, but now we have confirmation by the creator himself with a early 2017 release!

The last “Fairy Tail” feature film was “Fairy Tail The Movie: Phoenix Priestess,” released in 2012. That’s a whole five years of waiting for a second feature film, odd but still hyped to see what GAGA will be releasing.

We just want to wish you a happy New Year. Now that 2016 is gone and 2017 has arrived we can expect not one, not two but FOUR new seasons of anime, a slew of video game launches, manga and light novel publications all throughout the year!

We’re preparing a lot for 2017 with plenty of projects and updates coming to the Otaku Network. We can’t wait to show off all of our planning and hard work!
