This shouldn’t come as a surprise. Crunchyroll will be simulcasting the latest story in the Yu-Gi-Oh universe “Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS.” The first three episodes are already available to premium subscribers and the fourth episode will be available Wednesday with simulcasting every week from that day.
The series will be available world-wide excluding these territories: Asia, France, Canada, Australia and Italy.
It’s always nice to see the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise continue with the series. This time is no different. You won’t be disappointed with “Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS.” There’s plenty of dueling, the characters are well-rounded and for its genre it certainly lives up to it. The series will have 12 – 24 episodes and hopefully in time we’ll see some a future update to the card game that coincides with latest series.
This is Yu-Gi-Oh’s fifth series. Hopefully with more to come.
Here’s a quick synopsis from the publishers.
In “Den City” where the latest network has developed, people were dueling day and night in the VR world called “LINK VRAINS” managed by SOL Technology Inc. The main character, Yusaku Fujiki is a quiet high school student with a great insight. He has been dueling, transforming himself into his avatar “Playmaker”, to battle the “The Knights of Hanoi” that plots to destroy “LINK VRAINS”.
