Super Dragon Ball Heroes marks the latest expansion of the Dragon Ball universe. Bringing what was an original trading card game released back in 2008 onto a modern gaming console, the Nintendo Switch!
The original “Dragon Ball” trading card game released by Bandai Namco in 2008. The game never really took off here in the states but with the popularity of online collectible card games like “Hearthstone” and “Yu-Gi-Oh” it make sense for Bandai Namco to attempt another release of one their most profitable franchises, Dragon Ball.
The game is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch sometime next year.
The updated version will have a mashup of characters from multiple Dragon Ball Universes. In total there will be 1,160 cards featuring 350 Dragon Ball Characters all from the various “Dragon Ball” universes. The company is expecting to release a set of cards related to their newest franchise, “Dragon Ball: Xenoverse.”
