We previously reported on “Dragon Ball Z:Kakarot” when Bandai Namco dropped a trailer announcing a sometime-in-2020 release. Gamescom begins today in Germany and Bandai Namco is utilizng the media attention to promote it’s most popular franchise, Dragon Ball. This time Bandai Namco introduces Gohan, his son and even shines the spotlight on Cell for a few seconds.
Checkout Kakarot and his son train and fight enemies together in the trailer below:
This trailer shows a different side to the upcoming, Dragon Ball Z RPG. In the trailer you get to see more of an old but memorable world. Gohan and Kakarot spending time together and riding Nimbus next to dinosaurs. The trailer also gives a glimpse into “Meal Time.” A feature where eating plates of food increases your characters stats. A final scene in the trailer shows off Cell and Gohan going head to head.
Bandai Namco had this to say in a press release paired with the trailer: “Experience the story of DRAGON BALL Z from epic events to light-hearted side quests, including never-before-seen story moments that answer some burning questions of DRAGON BALL lore for the first time!“
Dragonball Z: Kakarot is certainly going to be an interesting game. The ability to play some of the most iconic characters in the Dragon Ball universe is always appealing, developing an RPG with an open world concept feels like collecting all the Dragon Balls.
Bandai Namco Entertainment’s “Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot” will be available on the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows (Steam) Spring 2020
