Sega Drops Super-Nostalgic Trailer For Launch Of Sega Genesis Mini

Sega is officially launching a retro console! The “Sega Mini Genesis” will hit store shelves next month and Sega intends to create some buzz. A nostalgic, tear-jerking trailer should do the trick. The official trailer spotlights the old-school, 16-bit hardware and a library of 40+ games. One major takeaway. The retro console comes with an HDMI cable instead of the 90’s AV cable. The retro console can be pre-ordered today at the usual shops: Amazon.com, Gamestop, Best Buy and Walmart. The console will officially be available September 19th, 2019 for $79.99.

Just look at some of the games that’ll be available: Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Castle Of Illusion and Phantasy Star IV. The lineup is looking good. While some will complain about the $80 price tag, compare it to a new, blockbuster-AAA title at $60. An additional $20 isn’t too bad for 40+ games and HD game-play for decade-old games isn’t too shabby
